Progress of carbon and Metal-Based Three-Dimensional materials for Dendrite-Proof and Interface-Compatible lithium metal anode

Yuheng Sun et al.

Summary: With the increasing demand for high energy storage devices, lithium metal batteries (LMBs) have attracted wide interest due to their high theoretical energy density and specific capacity. However, the growth of Li dendrites has hindered the application and development of Li metal anodes. Rational design of the electrode-electrolyte interface is crucial for dendrite-proof and interface-compatible LMBs. Three-dimensional (3D) materials, with their excellent structural stability and easy-to-control hierarchical structure, have been focused on to address the interface problems of Li metal anodes.
