Various patterns of coexisting attractors in a hyperchaotic map

Summary: A hyperchaotic map with various patterns of coexisting attractors is discovered by introducing trigonometric functions. The periodicity of trigonometric functions brings possibilities for attractor self-producing. By introducing orthorhombic feedback, various types of coexisting attractors are produced, and chaotic signals with desired properties can be obtained. These findings are further verified based on the STM32 platform.

Routes toward chaos in a memristor-based Shinriki circuit

Summary: This paper discusses the complex routes to chaos in a memristor-based Shinriki circuit using the discrete implicit mapping method. The bifurcation trees of period-m motions are accurately presented through discrete nodes. The corresponding critical values of bifurcation points can be determined by the global view of eigenvalues analysis. Unstable periodic orbits are compared with stable ones obtained by numerical methods, and the basins of attractors are employed to analyze the coexistence of asymmetric stable periodic motions. Hardware experiments are designed to verify the analysis model.

Experimental results demonstrate high security and lossless compression performance of the algorithm.
