Security-Based Fuzzy Control for Nonlinear Networked Control Systems With DoS Attacks via a Resilient Event-Triggered Scheme

Yingnan Pan et al.

Summary: This article studies the design of resilient event-triggered security controllers for nonlinear networked control systems subjected to nonperiodic denial of service attacks. By transforming the state error caused by packet loss into an uncertain variable, a novel RET strategy is proposed to transmit necessary packets and reduce performance loss under nonperiodic DoS attacks. A new security controller is also designed to simplify the network control structure. Simulation results demonstrate the advantages of the proposed approach.

Active event-driven reliable defense control for interconnected nonlinear systems under actuator faults and denial-of-service attacks

Bin GUO et al.

Summary: This study investigates the reliable control design for a class of interconnected nonlinear systems subjected to actuator faults, disturbances, and denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. An integrated event-observer-based security sliding mode fault-tolerant control approach is presented to defend against DoS attacks and compensate for faults and disturbances. The proposed method utilizes fuzzy logic system (FLS) theory to approximate unknown nonlinear components, and establishes an adaptive sliding mode manifold and an event-driven mechanism to achieve trajectory tracking in the presence of attacks, faults, and disturbances.

Observer-based synchronization of memristive neural networks under DoS attacks and actuator saturation and its application to image encryption

Chao Zhou et al.

Summary: This article investigates the synchronization issue of memristive neural networks (MNNs) under denial-of-service (DoS) attacks and actuator saturation using an observer-based controller. The study considers the effect of actuator saturation in the controller design and explores DoS attacks in the communication channel connecting master and slave MNNs. The proposed observer-based control approach estimates the MNNs states and ensures synchronization in the presence of DoS attacks and actuator saturation, with sufficient synchronization conditions derived using the Lyapunov method and stochastic analysis technique.

Event-triggered adaptive fuzzy tracking control for a class of fractional-order uncertain nonlinear systems with external disturbance

Xingxing You et al.

Summary: This paper addresses the event-triggered adaptive fuzzy tracking control problem for a class of fractional-order nonlinear systems with uncertainty and external disturbance. It proposes a novel condition for estimating the fractional derivative of the event-triggered strategy measurement error signal, and constructs an event-triggered-based adaptive fuzzy controller using the fractional dynamic surface control scheme and fractional Lyapunov direct method. The designed controller ensures convergence of the tracking error, semiglobal uniform ultimate boundedness of all signals in closed-loop systems, and favorable avoidance of Zeno behavior. Fuzzy logic systems and an auxiliary function are employed to improve the control performance.

Observer-based Adaptive Fuzzy Control for Nonlinear Fractional-Order Systems via Backstepping and Sliding Mode Techniques

Jiae Yang et al.

Summary: Compared with integral-order calculus, fractional calculus is better at depicting the real process with memory property and history-dependent property. This work investigates a class of nonlinear strict-feedback fractional-order systems and presents a novel control strategy. The unknown drift functions and unmeasurable system states are coped with by designing fuzzy logic systems (FLSs) and a robust fractional-order state observer. The problem of the differential explosion caused by repeated differentiation when employing the backstepping technique is also overcome without additional filters or control mechanisms.

Neural-Network-Based Event-Triggered Adaptive Control of Nonaffine Nonlinear Multiagent Systems With Dynamic Uncertainties

Summary: This article addresses the adaptive event-triggered neural control problem for nonaffine pure-feedback nonlinear multiagent systems with dynamic disturbance, unmodeled dynamics, and dead-zone input. The use of radial basis function neural networks to approximate unknown nonlinear functions and a dynamic signal to handle design difficulties in unmodeled dynamics were highlighted. A novel event-triggered control protocol was proposed to reduce communication burden and achieve convergence of follower outputs to a neighborhood of the leader's output, while ensuring bounded signals in the closed-loop system. An illustrative simulation example was provided to verify the efficacy of the proposed algorithms.
