Green product purchase decision: a conceptual model of factors influencing the decision of Indian consumers

Predicting Consumer Green Product Purchase Attitudes and Behavioral Intention During COVID-19 Pandemic

Summary: This study investigates the attitudes and intentions of consumers towards purchasing green products during the COVID-19 pandemic. The findings suggest that the fear of the pandemic significantly influences the behavioral intentions towards green products. Additionally, green product literacy, green product orientation, and social influence also have a significant impact on consumers' attitudes towards green product purchase. The study also finds that consumers' purchase attitudes mediate the effects of green product literacy, green product orientation, and social influence on behavioral intentions.

The Impact of Positive Emotional Appeals on the Green Purchase Behavior

Summary: This study explores the relationship between positive emotions and green purchase behavior in the field of green consumption. It proposes two dimensions and four kinds of positive emotional appeals, and confirms their effects on consumers' perceived green value, perceived green responsibility, and green purchase behaviors. The results indicate that positive emotional appeals, perceived green value, perceived green responsibility, and green purchase behavior are positively correlated, and perceived green responsibility and perceived green value mediate the relationship between positive emotional appeals and green purchase behaviors. Middle doctrine significantly moderates the relationship between positive emotional appeals and perceived green value.

Perceived Environmental Responsibilities and Green Buying Behavior: The Mediating Effect of Attitude

On the Factors Influencing Green Purchase Intention: A Meta-Analysis Approach

Summary: This study systematically analyzed the factors influencing consumers' green purchase intention, categorizing them into cognitive factors, consumer individual characteristics, and social factors. The meta-analysis of 54 empirical papers revealed that green perceived value, attitude, and trust have a significant positive impact on green purchase intention, while perceived behavior control, perceived consumer effectiveness, and subjective norm also play a strong positive role. Collectivism has a positive effect, while green perceived risk has a significant negative impact on green purchase intention.
