N-CNT supported Fe/Ce bimetallic catalyst for Al-air aqueous batteries

Summary: The development and design of low-cost and efficient cathode catalysts for high electrochemical performance aluminum-air batteries is of great significance. Here, nitrogen-doped carbon nanotube supported Fe/Ce bimetallic catalysts were synthesized by chemical vapor deposition. The Fe/Ce-NCNT-0.2 catalyst showed excellent oxygen reduction reaction ability in alkaline media and the assembled Al-air battery exhibited high performance, indicating great commercial potential.

Rational construction of FeNi3/N doped carbon nanotubes for high-performance and reversible oxygen catalysis reaction for rechargeable Zn-air battery

Summary: In this study, FeNi3@NC catalyst with multi-structure of 0D/1D/3D was successfully synthesized. By modulating the electronic configuration and utilizing pyridinic-N as the active site, a new approach to solve the sluggish kinetics of ORR/OER in zinc-air batteries was proposed. The FeNi3@NC catalyst exhibited excellent catalytic activity and stability, and the assembled zinc-air battery showed high power density and long-term stability.

Strategy for boosting Co-Nx content for oxygen reduction reaction in aqueous metal-air batteries

Nanosized Pd-loaded the Fe3C encapsulated by N-doped carbon nanotube as an electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction and ethanol oxidation reactions

Additionally, density functional theory calculations suggest increased electron mobility in the recombination area for Pd and Fe3C@NCNTs.
