Impact of bismuth titanate for microwave absorber application: a review

P. Harshapriya et al.

Summary: Bismuth titanate (BTO) and its composites are considered as prominent candidates for microwave absorption applications due to their high dielectric constant and losses. Doping with V, La, Sm, and Nd can enhance the ferroelectric and dielectric characteristics of BTO, while V-doped BTO exhibits the highest dielectric loss suitable for high temperature applications.

Structural and microwave properties of Ag-doped strontium hexaferrite

Nyathani Maramu et al.

Summary: A series of silver-doped strontium hexaferrite were synthesized by the Co-precipitation method, and their crystal structure, morphology, and microwave absorption properties were studied. The results showed that the lattice parameters increased and grain size decreased with the increase of Ag doping, leading to improved microwave absorption properties in X-band frequencies. The study confirmed the nature of microwave absorption for Ag-doped strontium hexaferrite.

Impact of particle size on the magnetic properties of highly crystalline Yb3+ substituted Ni-Zn nanoferrites

N. Jahan et al.

Summary: In this study, Yb-substituted Ni-Zn-Fe ferrites were synthesized using sol-gel auto combustion method, with various analyses confirming their structure and properties. The decrease in grain size, saturation magnetization, Bohr magnetic moment, and the increase in coercivity with increasing Yb3+ content were observed, along with a decrease in Curie temperature. The compositions displayed ferromagnetic order below Curie temperature and paramagnetic behavior above it, making them potential candidates for high-temperature magnetic device applications.
