Stabilization of Switched Linear Neutral Systems With Time-Scheduled Feedback Control Strategy

Zhongyang Fei et al.

Summary: This article focuses on the stabilization of continuous-time switched linear neutral systems with stricter bounds on mode-dependent average dwell time. A novel time-scheduled control strategy is introduced to construct a switching-signal-based multiple discontinuous Lyapunov function (SMDLF) for continuous-time switched linear neutral systems. The discontinuous points of the Lyapunov function during each mode-running interval are dynamically adjusted according to the actual system switching signal. The article establishes sufficient criteria for global uniform exponential stability (GUES) of switched nonlinear systems and derives less conservative stability conditions for switched linear neutral systems based on the constructed SMDLF. A set of time-dependent state feedback controllers are designed to guarantee the GUES of the underlying system. The effectiveness and advantages of the presented approach are verified through a simulation example with comparison results.

Improved Input-to-State Stability Analysis of Impulsive Stochastic Systems

Pengfei Wang et al.

Summary: This article focuses on the input-to-state stability (ISS) and stochastic input-to-state stability (SISS) of impulsive stochastic nonlinear systems. The ISS criteria are obtained by constructing a general SISS-Lyapunov function, and the average dwell-time (ADT) condition is imposed for destabilizing impulses and the reverse average dwell-time (RADT) condition for stabilizing impulses. The article also studies the ISS and SISS of impulsive stochastic interconnected systems on networks using the Lyapunov method and graph-theoretic technique.

Mean square exponential stability of discrete-time Markov switched stochastic neural networks with partially unstable subsystems and mixed delays

Lina Fan et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the mean square exponential stability of discrete-time stochastic neural networks with partially unstable subsystems and mixed delays. Sufficient conditions for stability are provided by constructing a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and utilizing the stationary distribution of a Markov chain. Numerical examples are presented to validate the theoretical results.

Analysis and Verification of Input-to-State Stability for Nonautonomous Discrete-Time Switched Systems via Semidefinite Programming

Junjie Lu et al.

Summary: This article presents a theoretical analysis and mechanical verification of input-to-state stability (ISS) for nonautonomous discrete-time switched systems. The authors propose less conservative sufficient conditions based on bounded functions and average dwell time for various types of stability, and introduce a linear semidefinite programming based computable approach for mechanical verification of theoretical results. Both the theoretical results and mechanical approach are illustrated through examples.

Observer-Based Adaptive Neural Output Feedback Constraint Controller Design for Switched Systems Under Average Dwell Time

Lei Liu et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a novel adaptive neural network output feedback tracking control method based on full state constraints, where an observer is constructed to estimate unmeasured states and a tangent barrier Lyapunov function (BLF-Tan) is selected to ensure all states within the time-varying boundary. The designed controllers guarantee the boundedness of closed-loop signals with average dwell time and ensure all states remain within their constraints, with output tracking error converging to a small neighborhood of zero.
