ETB receptor-mediated vasodilation is regulated by estradiol in young women

Summary: The study found that estradiol (E-2) can modulate ETB receptor-mediated vasodilation in young women. During suppression of endogenous hormones (with a GnRH antagonist), blocking the ETB receptor enhanced microvascular vasodilation, while after E-2 administration, the vasodilatory effect of the ETB receptor was attenuated.
