Kinesiotaping for isolated rib fractures in emergency department: post-procedure VAS scores

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the effects of combining Kinesio taping and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) with active stretching (AS) on hamstring flexibility. The results showed that the combination of KT and TENS with AS may increase range of motion (ROM) more than AS alone, and the improvements obtained using KT with AS and TENS with AS may be similar.

Summary: This study found that kinesiotaping combined with standard care is more effective in acute pain reduction compared to standard treatment alone in patients with uncomplicated traumatic injury of the shoulder or chest wall.
