Rheology-Guided Assembly of a Highly Aligned MXene/Cellulose Nanofiber Composite Film for High-Performance Electromagnetic Interference Shielding and Infrared Stealth

Summary: In this study, aligned MXene-based materials for electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding and infrared (IR) stealth were fabricated by using one-dimensional cellulose nanofibers (CNFs) as a reinforcing agent and a rheological modifier. Through precise regulation of structural assembly and theory-guided solution processing, the MXene/CNF film exhibited significantly enhanced electrical conductivity, tensile strength, and Young's modulus, as well as improved EMI shielding effectiveness and IR stealth.

Accurately Engineering 2D/2D/0D Heterojunction In Hierarchical Ti3C2Tx MXene Nanoarchitectures for Electromagnetic Wave Absorption and Shielding

By decorating Ti3C2Tx lamellas with coordination compounds and controlling their assembly into hierarchical microspheres, a new microstructure with excellent EM wave absorption and interference shielding performance is achieved. The 2D/2D/0D heterojunctions in the carbonized Ti3C2Tx/C/MoO2 microspheres can be tuned to regulate electric/dielectric properties, resulting in superior EM energy absorption and out-plane electron flowing.
