Suppressive Effect of Soil Microbiomes Associated with Tropical Fruit Trees on Meloidogyne enterolobii

Milad Rashidifard et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the efficacy of soil microbiomes associated with subtropical fruit trees on the management of Meloidogyne enterolobii. The results showed that some soil microbiomes significantly reduced the nematode population, with the microbiome extracted from a papaya orchard being the most effective. The presence of certain bacteria and fungi was correlated to higher suppression potential.
