Surface Adaptable and Adhesion Controllable Dry Adhesive with Shape Memory Polymer

Summary: A switchable dry adhesive inspired by gecko feet, with high adhesion and easy detachment capabilities, is proposed in this study. The adhesive is able to reversibly recover from a deformed state to its initial shape, showing great potential in advanced glass transfer applications.

Rapid DNA origami nanostructure detection and classification using the YOLOv5 deep convolutional neural network

Summary: In this study, we propose a method using the YOLO modern object detection platform to rapidly identify correctly formed DNA nanostructures in atomic force microscope images. The approach is flexible and can be easily adapted to various structural geometries. Experimental results demonstrate high accuracy in identifying structures from raw images.
