Flexible Polydimethylsiloxane Composite with Multi-Scale Conductive Network for Ultra-Strong Electromagnetic Interference Protection

Jie Li et al.

Summary: In this paper, a novel composite material was developed by integrating silver-plated polylactide short fiber and carbon nanotubes to form a multi-scale conductive network in the polydimethylsiloxane matrix. The composite exhibited excellent electrical conductivity and ultra-strong electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness (EMI SE). Even after subjected to simulated aging and bending-releasing cycles, the composite still retained high EMI SE. This research provides important guidance for designing excellent EMI shielding materials for flexible electronic devices.
