An updated review about perceptual learning as a treatment for amblyopia

Antonio Rodan et al.

Summary: Recent investigations suggest that using perceptual learning, dichoptic training, and video games for amblyopia treatment can improve visual functions, such as visual acuity, contrast sensitivity, and stereopsis. However, further controlled clinical trials are needed to determine which treatment method is most effective and how long the treatment effects can last.
