The risks associated with Artificial General Intelligence: A systematic review

Scott McLean et al.

Summary: This systematic review summarizes the risks associated with Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and identifies limitations in the literature base. The review highlights risks such as loss of control, unsafe goals, poor ethics, inadequate management, and existential risks. It also points out the lack of specific research and standardized terminology in AGI risk studies. Recommendations are made to address these issues for guiding AGI design and management.
