Network resilience assessment and reinforcement strategy against cascading failure

Summary: This paper proposes resilience reinforcement strategies based on nodal capacity redundancy and develops a network resilience assessment method considering both structure and nodal load. The study finds that nodal capacity redundancy and heterogeneity of load significantly affect reinforcement efficiency. The modified reinforcement strategy based on optimization theory outperforms existing methods in experimentations on different network structures.
