Chinese Version of the mHealth App Usability Questionnaire: Cross-Cultural Adaptation and Validation

Summary: This study translated the patient version of the interactive mHealth app usability questionnaire into Chinese and conducted cross-cultural adaptation, reliability, and validity tests. Users' satisfaction levels about mHealth applications in post-Covid-19 times in Saudi Arabia

Summary: This study aims to investigate users' satisfaction levels and intentions to use mHealth applications in Saudi Arabia. A cross-sectional survey was conducted using an online version of the mHealth App Usability Questionnaire. The results showed that users rated the app's ease of learning, information retrieval, and interface as highly effective. However, issues such as the ability to recover from mistakes, navigation inconsistency, and lack of necessary functions were identified. There was no significant difference in opinions regarding the usability factor sub-scales. Despite high satisfaction levels, the increase in mHealth users may be partly attributed to psychological issues and restricted access during the pandemic.

Multifaceted approaches, including improved awareness, adherence to treatment, and better preventive and counseling services, are crucial to halt the development of diabetes in India.
