Concussion, sensation-seeking and substance use among US adolescents

Summary: This study found that in US adolescents, head injuries have an impact on substance use, especially with adolescents who have experienced multiple head injuries having a greater likelihood of substance use. This association persists even after controlling for sensation-seeking tendencies.
