The Cascade of Chaos: From Early Adversity to Interpersonal Aggression

Aurelio Jose Figueredo et al.

Summary: The study used a cascade model to explore the relationship between childhood resource instability, maternal sensitivity, social vulnerability cognitive schemata, Life History strategies, behavioral regulation, Dark Triad personalities, and interpersonal aggression in adulthood, and cross-culturally validated the universality of this developmental progression. The results indicate that the robustness of the model is relatively high, although not completely consistent.

Faster life history strategy manifests itself by lower age at menarche, higher sexual desire, and earlier reproduction in people with worse health

Katerina Sykorova et al.

Summary: The study indicates that individuals with poorer health tend to adopt a faster life strategy, including early sexual development and reproduction, higher sexual desire, and earlier parenting. However, poor health also leads to negative impacts such as decreased sexual activity, fewer sexual partners, and fewer children.
