The relation between leadership styles in higher education institutions and academic staff's job satisfaction: A meta-analysis study

Reporting the wrong to the right: the mediated moderation model of whistleblowing education and the whistleblowing intentions

Summary: This study investigates the impact of whistleblowing education on whistleblowing intentions and explores the mechanisms of moral identity and relativism in this relationship. The results show that whistleblowing education has a positive influence on whistleblowing intentions, both directly and indirectly through moral identity. Relativism acts as a buffer, attenuating the indirect effects of whistleblowing education on whistleblowing intentions through moral identity in individuals with dominant relativism.

Leader knowledge hiding, feedback avoidance and hotel employee outcomes: a moderated mediation model

Summary: This paper explores how leader knowledge hiding behavior impacts employee creativity and job performance through the mediator of feedback avoidance behavior (FAB), and whether leader-follower value congruence (LFVC) moderates this relationship. The findings suggest that leader knowledge hiding behavior exacerbates FAB, leading to reduced creativity and job performance. It is recommended that management prioritize the importance of leader knowledge sharing and focus on building mutual trust and LFVC.

Servant leadership and job satisfaction in higher education: the mediating roles of organizational justice and organizational trust

Summary: Drawing upon social exchange and self-determination theories, this study proposes a model to examine the mediating role of organizational justice and organizational trust in the relationship between servant leadership and job satisfaction. The findings suggest that organizational justice and organizational trust partially mediate the relationship between servant leadership and job satisfaction. Additionally, significant differences in gender and experience pertaining to job satisfaction levels were observed.
