Acceptable recovery values were observed for the determination of HN in human urine, human blood serum, and river water samples.

Summary: A highly selective and sensitive electrochemical sensor for the determination of nitrofurazone was reported in this study. A sulfur-doped graphitic carbon nitride with copper tungstate hollow sphere composite was synthesized using a facile ultrasonic method. The physicochemical properties and surface morphology of the composite were characterized, and the electrochemical activity of the composite material was tested. The proposed sensor exhibited low detection limit, good sensitivity, excellent repeatability, reproducibility, long-term storage stability, and selectivity.

The performance of the SrWO4-based sensor was enhanced due to its catalytic effect, large surface area, good electrical conductivity, and physicochemical nature, showing its significance in drug detection.
