Summary: This article explores the combined impact of thermal radiation and suction/blowing on the MHD flow of Cu-Ag/H2O-C2H6O2 hybrid nanofluid through a stretchable surface in Darcy-Forchheimer porous medium. The study finds that velocity decreases with suction, while the absence of suction/injection region is observed. Moreover, in the blowing region, a dual behavior in velocity profiles is noticed with an increase in Forchhiemer and porosity parameters.

Summary: This study investigates the impact of the Cattaneo-Christov model and convective boundary on second-grade nanofluid flow, as well as the influence of Lorentz forces generated by a Riga pattern. The research finds variations in horizontal movement, thermal distribution, and concentration distribution of nanoparticles for different fluid parameters. The results are obtained using a spectral local linearization method and reveal enhancements in horizontal movement for elevated modified Hartman factor values, as well as reductions in thermal state and nanoparticle concentration for incremental relaxation time parameters.

Numerical analysis of MHD nanofluid flow over a wedge, including effects of viscous dissipation and heat generation/absorption, using Buongiorno model

Ashish Mishra et al.

Summary: This article examines magnetohydrodynamics flow, generative/absorptive heat, and mass transfer of nanofluid flow past a wedge in the presence of viscous dissipation through a porous medium. The theoretical investigation reframes the fundamental model of partial differential equations into ordinary differential equations, and analyzes the impact of various nondimensional controlling parameters on velocity, temperature, and concentration profiles. The outcomes demonstrate that higher values of the thermophoresis parameter lead to a reduction in local Nusselt and Sherwood numbers, while increased estimations of heat generation/absorption and viscous dissipation parameters result in higher temperatures. The involvement of the Brownian motion parameter affects the temperature profile differently from the concentration profile, as indicated by comparisons with limiting cases.

Hybrid nanofluid flow over two different geometries with Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model and heat generation: A model with correlation coefficient and probable error

Rashmi Garia et al.

Summary: The study examines the steady MHD flow of SiO2-MoS2/water hybrid nanofluid towards two different geometries, incorporating heat transfer, suction, heat generation, and thermal radiation effects. Numerical computation is performed using similarity transformations and the Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg scheme, showing that the temperature of the nanofluid increases with thermal radiation but decreases with thermal relaxation and magnetic field. Additionally, increasing suction, thermal relaxation, and thermal radiation values result in higher heat transfer coefficient. Interestingly, the heat generation parameter has opposite effects on temperature distribution over the two geometries.
