A Modified Model Predictive Torque Control with Parameters Robustness Improvement for PMSM of Electric Vehicles

Siyu Gao et al.

Summary: A modified model predictive torque control with duty cycle control (MPTC-DCC) method is proposed in this paper, which calculates motor parameters in real-time and adopts model reference adaptive control in the speed loop to eliminate disturbance and effectively suppress disturbance caused by parameter mismatch. Simulation and experiment on MATLAB / Simulink software and dSPACE experimental platform confirm the correctness of the method.

A Deadbeat PI Controller With Modified Feedforward for PMSM Under Low Carrier Ratio

Zhijian Zhang et al.

Summary: A deadbeat PI controller is proposed in this paper for permanent magnet synchronous motors to achieve full decoupling and deadbeat response for command tracking. The modified feedforward allows for cancellation of disturbance effects and ensures dynamic performance and harmonic suppression. The effectiveness of the proposed controller is validated through simulations and experiments.
