Detection and Real-Time Monitoring of LDL-Cholesterol by Redox-Free Impedimetric Biosensors

An impedimetric biosensor for COVID-19 serology test and modification of sensor performance via dielectrophoresis force

Summary: The detection of COVID-19 antibodies is an important serological test that supports vaccination policies and treatment decisions. This study presents a gold micro-interdigitated electrodes (IDE) biosensor based on Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) responses for COVID antibody detection. Two strategies were utilized to enhance sensitivity and overcome sensor fouling when using serum samples. The results showed that the biosensor could distinguish COVID-19 antibody-positive and -negative sera, providing a promising path for rapid and point-of-care solutions for COVID-19 serology tests.

Ultrasensitive probeless capacitive biosensor for amyloid beta (Aβ1-42) detection in human plasma using interdigitated electrodes
