Multi-objective equilibrium optimizer: framework and development for solving multi-objective optimization problems

Summary: This paper proposes a new Multi-Objective Equilibrium Optimizer (MOEO) algorithm to tackle complex optimization problems. The MOEO algorithm combines the ideas of Equilibrium Optimizer (EO) and the crowding distance mechanism and non-dominated sorting strategy in multi-objective metaheuristic algorithms. The results show that the MOEO algorithm outperforms other algorithms in various optimization problems.

This article proposes a dynamic multiobjective evolutionary algorithm (DMOEA-DVC) based on decision variable classification, aiming to balance population diversity and convergence. Experimental results comparing DMOEA-DVC with six other algorithms on 33 benchmark DMOPs demonstrate its superior overall performance.
