DYNAMIC EVENT-TRIGGERED LEADER-FOLLOWER CONSENSUS CONTROL FOR MULTIAGENT SYSTEMS

Xiaoqun Wu et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a new decentralized event-triggered strategy for achieving consensus in leader-follower multiagent systems under fixed/switching topologies. The strategy uses clock-like variables to determine event-triggered time and ensures the existence of a strictly positive minimum interevent time for each follower agent, thus avoiding the Zeno phenomenon. The strategy is robust and can be applied in engineering.

Quasisynchronization of Heterogeneous Dynamical Networks via Event-Triggered Impulsive Controls

Wen Sun et al.

Summary: This article presents a study on achieving quasisynchronization in heterogeneous dynamical networks using event-triggered impulsive controls. Two triggered mechanisms, centralized and distributed, are proposed to ensure synchronization error within a specified bound and exclude Zeno behavior. Experimental results show that event-triggered impulsive control has the advantages of low-energy consumption and fewer communication channel occupation compared to time-triggered impulsive control.

Sliding-Mode Control for Linear Uncertain Systems With Impulse Effects via Switching Gains

Wu-Hua Chen et al.

Summary: This article addresses the problem of sliding-mode control of linear uncertain systems with impulse effects. It introduces a piecewise linear sliding function considering the dynamics properties of impulses, and constructs a suitable integral sliding-mode control law. The stability of the resulting sliding-mode dynamics is analyzed using a piecewise discontinuous Lyapunov function.

Event-triggered impulsive control design for synchronization of inertial neural networks with time delays

S. Shanmugasundaram et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the synchronization problem of inertial neural networks with time delays using event-triggered impulsive control. The synchronization analysis is discussed using reduced and non-reduced order approaches and constructing suitable Lyapunov functionals. Simulation results are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

Impulsive Effects Based Distributed Synchronization of Heterogeneous Coupled Neural Networks

Ze Tang et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the exponential synchronization problem on a class of coupled heterogeneous neural networks with hybrid time-varying delays by introducing a distributed pinning control strategy. Sufficient conditions for achieving exponential quasi-synchronization are obtained by applying the concept of average impulsive intervals, the extended comparison principle of impulsive systems, and vector norm techniques. Two different situations of exponential synchronization are considered based on the different roles of impulsive effects in network synchronizing.
