P50 inhibition defects with psychopathology and cognitive impairment in patients with first-episode drug naive schizophrenia

Luyao Xia et al.

Summary: The study found that patients with FEDN schizophrenia have P50 inhibition defects, which may be related to their psychopathological symptoms and cognitive impairment. Specifically, there were significant correlations between S1 latency and PANSS negative symptoms or cognitive factor, and P50 difference and general psychopathology.
