ACE2 Peptide Fragment Interaction with Different S1 Protein Sites

Summary: This study investigates the effect of a specific peptide on the kinetics of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein S1 binding to ACE2 and provides insights into the virus-host interaction. The peptide inhibits the formation of the S1-ACE2 complex and stabilizes the complex when pre-incubated with S1 protein.
