Evaluating measurement properties of subjective cognitive decline self-reported outcome measures: a systematic review

Aliaa Ibnidris et al.

Summary: This article systematically evaluates the measurement properties of self-reported outcome measures used to assess subjective cognitive decline (SCD) in the older adult population. The findings suggest that current SCD questionnaires lack content validity evaluation and development and validation standards. Further work is needed to develop and validate self-reported SCD measurements with good quality measurement properties.

Summary: The Greek version of Memory Alteration Test (M@T-GR) showed good discriminant validity in distinguishing healthy controls, subjective cognitive decline, and mild cognitive impairment. It is a suitable screening tool for identifying SCD and MCI in Greece.
