Nonlocal Scatterer for Compact Wave-Based Analog Computing

Summary: This research demonstrates how a compact scatterer with nonlocal response can be engineered to perform specific mathematical operations on arbitrary input waves, and even solve integro-differential equations. The lack of strongly resonant phenomena in this approach makes the response more robust, and the compact nature facilitates scalability and cascading of these processes.
