Photocatalytic degradation of reactive anionic dyes RB5, RR198 and RY145 via rare earth element (REE) lanthanum substituted CaTiO3 perovskite catalysts

Roselin Ranjitha Mathiarasu et al.

Summary: In this study, a conventional solid-state technique was improved with deep eutectic solvents to synthesize pure calcium titanate and lanthanum-doped calcium titanate for photocatalytic degradation of reactive dyes. Lanthanum-doped calcium titanate showed higher degradation efficiency, especially in acidic medium. The recyclability of the catalyst was also promising for real-time applications.
