Ultralow Detection Limit and Robust Hard X-ray Imaging Detector Based on Inch-Sized Lead-Free Perovskite Cs3Bi2Br9 Single Crystals

Xiang Li et al.

Summary: In this study, high-quality inch-size Cs3Bi2Br9 (CBB) single crystals were grown using the Bridgman method. The crystal quality was improved by eliminating inclusions and reducing trap-state density, leading to enhanced resistivity and mobility lifetime product. The Au/CBB/Au single crystal device exhibited high sensitivity and ultralow detection limit for hard X-ray detection. The CBB detector demonstrated high work stability and low dark current drift under a high electric field, making it a promising tool for X-ray medical imaging and diagnostics.

Morphology-Dependent One- and Two-Photon Absorption Properties in Blue Emitting CsPbBr3 Nanocrystals

Sol Laura Gutierrez Alvarez et al.

Summary: The linear and nonlinear optical parameters and morphologic dependence of CsPbBr3 nanocrystals are crucial for device engineering. The OPLA and TPA cross sections exhibit different characteristics in asymmetric nanocrystals. The local field effect in CsPbBr3 nanocrystals is more pronounced due to their asymmetric morphologies and polar ionic lattices. The lifetimes of photogenerated multiexcitonic species in these nanocrystals are independent of morphology.

Synthetic Powder-Based Thin (<0.1 μm) Cs3Bi2Br9 Perovskite Films for Air-Stable and Viable Resistive Switching Memory

So-Yeon Kim et al.

Summary: This paper reports on the resistive switching performance of a thin Cs3Bi2Br9 perovskite film enabled by synthesized Cs3Bi2Br9 powder. The synthesized powder shows improved solubility in DMSO, leading to a conformal coating on an ITO substrate. The Ag/Cs3Bi2Br9/ITO devices exhibit bipolar resistive switching behavior, with low operating voltage, high endurance, long retention time, and multilevel storage capability. The conduction mechanism is dominated by ion migration. Additionally, the devices retain their performance even after one month of storage in ambient conditions.
