A local search-based many-objective five-element cycle optimization algorithm

Summary: The conception of memetic algorithms has provided a new perspective in algorithmic design by hybridizing local search techniques and population-based search. Previous research has shown that the performance of some multi-objective evolutionary algorithms could be improved by hybridization with local search strategy. In this study, a new many-objective optimization algorithm, LSMaOFECO, based on a gradient-based local search method is proposed and validated to outperform other algorithms in experiments.
