Fifteen-Year Experience with the Ghent Technique of Penile Inversion Vaginoplasty

Summary: The study presented the 15-year outcomes of a technique developed by the senior author for vaginoplasty in trans women. The majority of patients were able to engage in penetrative intercourse and reach an orgasm postoperatively, with full-thickness skin grafts commonly used to lengthen the neovaginal vault. Diabetes was identified as the sole independent risk factor for late revision surgery.
