Summary: This study analytically examines the interacting strategies in evolutionary games using a Markov chain method in a well-mixed population. By establishing a correspondence between an evolutionary game and Markov chain dynamics, the study demonstrates the equivalence of results obtained from the fundamental matrix method in Markov chain dynamics to those in the evolutionary game. The study shows that the fundamental matrix method allows for the calculation of quantities such as fixation probability and fixation time. Furthermore, the method enables the calculation of conditional fixation time in the absorbing Markov chain and the analytical calculation of the stationary probability distribution in the ergodic Markov chain. The study evaluates the Rock, scissor, paper evolutionary game as an example and compares the results of the analytical method with simulations, showing that the analytical method saves time and computational resources compared to prevalent simulation methods.

Summary: Despite the existence of stable neural networks, current deep learning methods often suffer from instability. This study demonstrates the existence of well-conditioned problems in scientific computing where neural networks with good approximation qualities can be proven to exist, but there is currently no algorithm that can train or compute such networks.

Summary: Synaptic plasticity is a core hypothesis in brain learning and forms the foundation of machine learning. By simulating experimental evidence, we demonstrate efficient backpropagation and Hebbian learning on dendritic trees, achieving deep learning and near-perfect recognition rates for handwritten digits. Dendritic amplification enhances success rates through increased input crosses and higher-order interactions. However, the manipulation of a large number of cross weights is beyond current computational capabilities, calling for the development of nonlinear adaptive dendritic hardware.

Summary: Explicit information obtained through instruction profoundly shapes human choice behaviour, specifically affecting model-based and model-free systems in complex decision-making tasks. Providing task structure information strongly increases model-based control in both healthy volunteers and individuals with obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Summary: The study demonstrates that recurrence plots can be used to analyze time series generated from random dynamical systems and proposes three theorems to explain the correspondence between recurrence plots, initial conditions, and stochastic inputs. A stochasticity test based on recurrence plots is also introduced in the study.

Summary: In this study, a fair distribution method using physics was proposed to address the issue of uneven wealth distribution, with the linear programming problem for calculating the nucleolus efficiently solved by considering it as a physical system. This approach not only reduces computational complexity but also provides a new perspective for policymakers to adapt to real-time changes.
