An updated review of the new hadron states

Hua-Xing Chen et al.

Summary: The past decades have seen significant advancements in hadron physics, particularly in the observation of excited open heavy flavor mesons and baryons since 2017. This review provides updated information on the recent experimental and theoretical developments in this field, including the observation of unconventional heavy hadrons, tetraquark states, and hidden heavy flavor multiquark states. Additionally, the review covers progress in understanding glueballs and light hybrid mesons, which are manifestations of the non-Abelian SU(3) gauge interaction in Quantum Chromodynamics at low energies.

Summary: In this study, we re-investigate the mass spectrum of diquark-antidiquark type fully-charm tetraquark states using the QCD sum rules plus Regge trajectories. By taking into account the experimental data from CMS and ATLAS, we perform a self-consistent analysis and propose possible assignments for X(6600), X(6900), and X(7300) within the picture of tetraquark states with the JPC = 0++ or 1+-.

NLO results with operator mixing for fully heavy tetraquarks in QCD sum rules

Ren-Hua Wu et al.

Summary: This study investigates the mass spectra of (Q) over barQ (Q) over barQ systems in QCD sum rules, considering the complete next-to-leading order (NLO) contribution. The results show that the NLO corrections play a crucial role in understanding the color structure of the multiquark systems, with significant contributions and reduced scheme and scale dependence. The numerical analysis provides specific mass values for different J(PC) states, some of which are consistent with the experimental measurements.

Summary: In this study, we calculate the mass spectrum of the S-wave fully-charmed tetraquark resonant states using the nonrelativistic quark model and identify the genuine resonances with the complex scaling technique. The results show the existence of two resonances in each J(PC) sector, and the higher resonances may be good candidates for the X(7200) state.

Masses of fully heavy tetraquark states from a four-quark static potential model

Z. Asadi et al.

Summary: In this article, we studied the ground-state mass of full-heavy tetraquarks cc (c) over bar(c) over bar and bb (b) over bar(b) over bar by solving the nonrelativistic four-body systems. We applied the flux-tube configurations, the tetraquark four-body potential butterfly, and the dimeson potential flip-flop of SU(3) lattice quantum chromodynamics to describe the tetraquark interaction. Our numerical analysis showed that the disconnected and connected static potentials can predict the mass of tetraquarks very close to experimental data.

Mass-spectroscopy of [bb][(b)over-bar(b)over-bar] and [bq][(b)over-bar(q)over-bar] tetraquark states in a diquark-antidiquark formalism

Rohit Tiwari et al.

Summary: In this article, a non-relativistic potential model is utilized to calculate the mass-spectra of bottom and heavy-light bottom tetraquark states. The four-body problem is simplified into a two-body problem using a diquark-antidiquark approximation, and the Schrodinger equation is solved numerically with a Cornell-inspired potential and relativistic correction term. Various spin-dependent terms are used to describe the splitting structure of the tetraquark spectrum. The calculated masses of bottom mesons, diquarks, and tetraquarks fall within specific energy ranges, and the Z(b)(10610) and Z(b)(10650) states are found to be below certain thresholds in the current model.

Revisit the tetraquark candidates in the J/ψJ/ψ mass spectrum

Summary: This paper introduces the use of relative P-wave to construct the doubly-charm axialvector diquark operator, and then examines the scalar, axialvector and tensor fully-charm tetraquark states using QCD sum rules. It is observed that the ground state and first radial excited states of AA-type tetraquark states have nearly degenerated masses, and the broad structure above the J/psi J/psi threshold may consist of several diquark-antidiquark-type fully-charm tetraquark states.

Tetraquark state X(6900) and the interaction between diquark and antidiquark

Hong-Wei Ke et al.

Summary: This study investigates the possible cc-(c) over bar(c) over bar bound states and the interaction between diquark (cc) and antidiquark ((c) over bar(c) over bar) within the Bethe-Salpeter framework. Numerical solutions of the B-S equations for different quantum numbers show that some excited states' spectra can be close to the mass of the newly discovered X(6900) with appropriate parameter values. Future measurements of the bb-(b) over bar(b) over bar state may aid in determining the exact form of effective interaction.

Coupled-Channel Interpretation of the LHCb Double-J/ψ Spectrum and Hints of a New State Near the J/ψJ/ψ Threshold

Xiang-Kun Dong et al.

Summary: The LHCb Collaboration recently reported pronounced structures in the invariant mass spectrum of J/psi pairs produced in proton-proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider. They argue that the data can be well described within two variants of a coupled-channel approach, both of which hint at the existence of a near-threshold state in the J/psi J/psi system referred to as X(6200). Experimental tests are suggested to confirm the existence of this state and additional channels need to be studied to allow for distinctive tests between the proposed mechanisms.

X(6200) as a compact tetraquark in the QCD string model

A. V. Nefediev

Summary: The LHCb Collaboration recently observed nontrivial structures in the double-J/psi mass spectrum in the mass range of 6.2-7.2 GeV, and identified a new state X(6200) close to the double-J/psi threshold. The QCD string model suggests the existence of a compact cccc state below the double-J/psi threshold, with an interplay between quark dynamics and molecular dynamics. The physical X(6200) is argued to be a shallow bound state, consistent with the results of the coupled-channel analysis of the LHCb data.

Summary: In this study, the higher mass spectra for fully-charmed and fully-bottom tetraquark states in 2S and 1D waves were calculated using a nonrelativistic potential quark model. The potential quark model calculations show more states than observed in experiments, suggesting further research is needed for a comprehensive understanding.

Mass spectra and wave functions of TQQ(Q)over-bar(Q)over-bar tetraquarks

The results show the ground state mass ranges for cc (c) over bar(c) over bar and bb (b) over bar(b) over bar tetraquarks. The relativistic wave functions obtained can be used for precise calculations of tetraquark decays, suggesting that the observed X(6900) by LHCb may not be the ground state but possibly an excited state.
