The Interaction Relationship between Land Use Patterns and Socioeconomic Factors Based on Wavelet Analysis: A Case Study of the Black Soil Region of Northeast China

Yue Wang et al.

Summary: The study reveals that the influence of population, GDP, and land use intensity on LUPs has decreased from 1991 to 2019. Dry land, grassland, and construction land are the most affected by SEFs, while water areas are the least affected. Overall, population, GDP, and land use intensity are significant SEFs in the changes of LUPs, and are important for social progress and economic development.
