Design and Fabrication of Pneumatically Actuated Valveless Pumps

Summary: In this study, a valveless pump was designed and fabricated for medium transportation. The pump utilizes an actuated or a deflected membrane to achieve valveless property, and theoretical analysis and numerical simulation were conducted to determine the position of the inlet or outlet port. Experimental results showed that the pump has a high flow rate.
