Triality and the consistent reductions on AdS3 x S3

Summary: We study compactifications on AdS(3) x S-3 and their deformations, using the triality symmetry of three-dimensional supergravity to construct and relate new consistent truncations. For non-chiral D = 6, N = 6d = (1,1) supergravity, we find two different consistent truncations to three-dimensional supergravity, accessing different subsectors of the nonlinear dynamics. As an application, we construct a two-parameter family of AdS(3) x M-3 backgrounds preserving U(1)(2) isometrics, which break all supersymmetries yet remain perturbatively stable within a non-vanishing parameter space. We also find a one-parameter family of N = (0, 4) supersymmetric AdS(3) x M-3 backgrounds with U(2) isometrics and determine their full Kaluza-Klein spectrum using exceptional field theory techniques.

Holographic evidence for nonsupersymmetric conformal manifolds

Summary: We provide the first holographic evidence for the existence of a nonsupersymmetric conformal manifold resulting from exactly marginal but supersymmetry-breaking deformations. Specifically, we construct a 2-parameter nonsupersymmetric deformation of a supersymmetric AdS nongeometric background in type 1IB string theory. We prove the perturbative stability of the nonsupersymmetric backgrounds and their protection against various nonperturbative instabilities. Additionally, we argue that diffeomorphism symmetry safeguards our solutions against higher-derivative string corrections.

Janus solutions from dyonic ISO(7) maximal gauged supergravity

Summary: This study presents a new class of supersymmetric Janus solutions in dyonic ISO(7) maximal gauged supergravity that interpolate between AdS(4) vacua and N = 8 SYM phase, serving as conformal interfaces in the dual field theory in three dimensions. Singular Janus solutions that interpolate between N = 8 SYM or AdS(4) vacua and singularities are also discussed, with singularities deemed unphysical in both four- and ten-dimensional frameworks except for the SYM phase on D2-branes.

Supersymmetric Janus solutions in ω-deformed N=8 gauged supergravity

Summary: In this paper, a large class of supersymmetric Janus solutions in omega-deformed (dyonic) SO(8) maximal gauged supergravity with omega = pi/8 are presented. These solutions exhibit a rich structure of AdS(4) vacua with various symmetries and domain walls interpolating among them, providing insights into corresponding two-dimensional conformal defects in superconformal field theories (SCFTs) and unseen solutions interpolating among different AdS(4) vacua.
