Security-Based Fuzzy Control for Nonlinear Networked Control Systems With DoS Attacks via a Resilient Event-Triggered Scheme

Yingnan Pan et al.

Summary: This article studies the design of resilient event-triggered security controllers for nonlinear networked control systems subjected to nonperiodic denial of service attacks. By transforming the state error caused by packet loss into an uncertain variable, a novel RET strategy is proposed to transmit necessary packets and reduce performance loss under nonperiodic DoS attacks. A new security controller is also designed to simplify the network control structure. Simulation results demonstrate the advantages of the proposed approach.

Human-in-the-Loop Consensus Control for Nonlinear Multi-Agent Systems With Actuator Faults

Guohuai Lin et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the human-in-the-Ioop leader-following consensus control problem in multi-agent systems with unknown matched nonlinear functions and actuator faults. A neural fault-tolerant controller with dynamic coupling gains is proposed by using neural networks and fault estimators. It is proved that the state of each follower can synchronize with the leader's state and all signals in the closed-loop system are guaranteed to be cooperatively uniformly ultimately bounded. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control method.

Event-triggered fault detection for nonlinear semi-Markov jump systems based on double asynchronous filtering approach

Linchuang Zhang et al.

Summary: This paper studies the event-triggered fault detection problem for nonlinear semi-Markov jump systems constructed by Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy approach. A novel double asynchronous fault detection filter is designed to address the double asynchronous phenomenon in actual network environment. The mode asynchronous phenomenon is described using a hidden semi-Markov model. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, sufficient conditions are developed to ensure system stability and performance. An illustrative tunnel diode circuit example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Network-based robust event-triggered control for continuous-time uncertain semi-Markov jump systems

Linchuang Zhang et al.

Summary: This article investigates the event-triggered (ET) states feedback robust H infinity control problem for a class of continuous-time networked semi-Markov jump systems, proposing an ET scheme based on semi-Markov process. It introduces a time-delay S-MJSs model under the ET scheme to cope with network transmission delay phenomenon and considers imperfect communication links between event detector and zero-order holder. The sufficient conditions for stochastic stability are derived using linear matrix inequalities approach, ensuring the constructed time-delay S-MJSs meet an optimized H infinity performance level. Simulation results validate the proposed method for F-404 aircraft engine system with two kinds of ET parameters.

Neural-Network-Based Event-Triggered Adaptive Control of Nonaffine Nonlinear Multiagent Systems With Dynamic Uncertainties

Hongjing Liang et al.

Summary: This article addresses the adaptive event-triggered neural control problem for nonaffine pure-feedback nonlinear multiagent systems with dynamic disturbance, unmodeled dynamics, and dead-zone input. The use of radial basis function neural networks to approximate unknown nonlinear functions and a dynamic signal to handle design difficulties in unmodeled dynamics were highlighted. A novel event-triggered control protocol was proposed to reduce communication burden and achieve convergence of follower outputs to a neighborhood of the leader's output, while ensuring bounded signals in the closed-loop system. An illustrative simulation example was provided to verify the efficacy of the proposed algorithms.
