Effect of antimicrobial photodynamic therapy with different photosensitizers and adhesion protocol on the bond strength of resin composite to sound dentin

Phycocyanin self-etch group exhibited the highest bond strength compared to other aPDT groups.

Summary: This study identified significant changes in the oral microbial community of Indian oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) patients, with significantly lower bacterial diversity in malignant samples compared to normal counterparts. Genera such as Prevotella, Corynebacterium were enriched in OSCC lesions, while Actinomyces, Sutterella were notably decreased. HPV-16 was significantly associated with OSCC development.
