Determining the effect size of aerobic exercise training on the standard lipid profile in sedentary adults with three or more metabolic syndrome factors: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomised controlled trials

Summary: This study analyzed data from nearly 3000 participants undergoing aerobic exercise training, and found that aerobic exercise training had a significant positive impact on improving lipid profiles, particularly on triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol. Meta-regression indicated that intensity may explain changes in triglycerides, while volume may explain changes in HDL-C and LDL-C. Adjusting aerobic exercise training intervention variables could enhance the effects on triglycerides and cholesterol levels.

Effect of Washed Microbiota Transplantation on Patients With Dyslipidemia in South China

Beneficial Effects of Repeated Washed Microbiota Transplantation in Children With Autism

Summary: This study retrospectively evaluated the efficacy of repeated washed microbiota transplantation (WMT) in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The results showed that WMT significantly improved ASD symptoms, sleep disorders, and gastrointestinal symptoms, as well as reduced systemic inflammation. Additional WMT courses led to more obvious improvements in ASD symptoms.

Washed microbiota transplantation improves patients with high blood glucose in South China

Summary: This study investigated the feasibility and efficacy of washed microbiota transplantation (WMT) in treating abnormal blood glucose metabolism in a southern Chinese population. The results showed that WMT significantly improved blood glucose levels in patients with high blood glucose and reduced the risk of high risk classes of Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease (ASCVD). These findings suggest that regulating gut microbiota through WMT could provide a new clinical approach for the treatment of abnormal blood glucose metabolism.
