Summary: This article presents a comparative analysis of two elastomers, polyurethane (PUC) and organosilicon (OSC), modified with multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs). The study examines the conductivity and temperature field distribution of the modified elastomers. The results demonstrate that the lowest conductivity was observed in PUC elastomer modified with MWCNTs-2, while OSC elastomer modified with MWCNTs-1 exhibited more uniform temperature field. This study has important implications for electric heaters in various applications such as households, clothing, vehicles, and aircraft.
