Summary: Efforts have been made to synthesize and characterize processable polymers with desired properties. In this study, four different series of aromatic and aliphatic terpolyamides were prepared through solution phase polycondensation reaction of 4,4'-oxydianiline and hexamethylenediamine with various diacids chlorides. The structural, morphological and physico-chemical properties of the synthesized polymers were investigated using different characterization techniques. The effect of varying concentrations of aliphatic diamine on the properties of polyamides was also studied.
