Self-Oscillating Boost Converter of Wiegand Pulse Voltage for Self-Powered Modules

Xiaoya Sun et al.

Summary: This paper presents a new method of generating electricity using a Wiegand sensor, aiming to produce a stable DC voltage of 5 V for use in self-powered devices and battery-less modules. A self-oscillating boost converter circuit is designed and verified to boost the pulse voltage generated from the Wiegand sensor, successfully obtaining a stable 5 V output voltage. Quantitative analysis reveals a suitable voltage-current range for application in self-powered devices and battery-less modules.
