Summary: The study found a high colonization rate of potential neonatal disease-causing bacteria among pregnant women, with most bacteria being susceptible to antimicrobial agents tested. Pregnant women at 38-40 weeks gestation were more likely to be colonized by potential neonatal disease-causing bacteria.
