Sexual satisfaction and sexual distress after cancer: The role of body image disruption, self-compassion, sexual pain and relationship satisfaction

Summary: This study identified that sexual satisfaction and sexual distress are associated with different psycho-social correlates, highlighting the need to match interventions to the nature of sexual difficulties experienced by adult cancer survivors. Sexual pain had a stronger association with sexual distress than sexual satisfaction, indicating the importance of addressing pain in sexual health interventions.

Comorbidity, lifestyle factors, and sexual satisfaction among Chinese cancer survivors

The number and type of comorbidities are significantly related to sexual satisfaction, and lifestyle factors other than smoking are also correlated with sexual satisfaction, showing gender differences in these associations.
