Mohamed E. Ghoneim et al.

Summary: The objective of this research is to examine the effects of a squeezing motion of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD), Darcy-Forchheimer nanofluids comprising Copper nanoparticles suspended in kerosene fluid and Copper nanoparticles in host fluid water flow. The outcomes indicate that the squeezing motion significantly increases the temperature, and the local Nusselt values are higher for Cu-Kerosene compared to Cu-water at high volume fractions.

Flow and heat over a rotating disk subject to a uniform horizontal magnetic field

Mustafa Turkyilmazoglu

Summary: This study investigates the application of a horizontal uniform magnetic field in stabilizing the flow field and its effects on the energy equation. With the help of traditional von Karman similarity transformations, a similarity system of equations is derived, and the development of velocity and temperature fields under the magnetic field is numerically investigated. The existence of exact series solutions using decaying exponential functions is discussed, and the critical roles of the horizontal magnetic field on physical quantities are highlighted.

Significance of Rosseland's Radiative Process on Reactive Maxwell Nanofluid Flows over an Isothermally Heated Stretching Sheet in the Presence of Darcy-Forchheimer and Lorentz Forces: Towards a New Perspective on Buongiorno's Model

Ghulam Rasool et al.

Summary: This study investigates the consequences of the Darcy-Forchheimer medium and thermal radiation in the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Maxwell nanofluid flow. The inclusion of the Maxwell model provides more relaxation time to the momentum boundary layer formulation. Results show that thermal radiation increases the temperature profile, while chemical reaction reduces the concentration profile. Drag force (skin friction) exhibits sufficient enhancement for higher values of the porosity factor.

Supervised neural networks learning algorithm for three dimensional hybrid nanofluid flow with radiative heat and mass fluxes

Muhammad Asif Zahoor Raja et al.

Summary: Hybrid nanofluid is a promising field that can enhance heat transfer and improve the stability of base fluid properties. In this study, a three-dimensional hybrid nanofluid flow model is developed and the Bayesian Regularization technique based on Backpropagated neural networks is employed to estimate the solution. The impact of various parameters on the velocity and temperature fields is investigated through self-similar transformations. Statistical tests are conducted to evaluate the accuracy and convergence of the solution obtained. The results suggest that the stretching/shrinking quantity and mass flux parameter affect the flow rate, while the increase in radiative heat flux influences the temperature gradient.

Summary: The energy and mass dissemination rate of a hybrid nanofluid comprised of silver and magnesium oxide nanoparticles flowing over a porous surface have been studied. The effects of a magnetic field, thermal dissipation, and heat source on the system were also analyzed. The results showed that the velocity contour decreased with increased porosity parameter and magnetic force, while increased with the variation of volume friction coefficient. The energy profile was enhanced by an increase in Biot number, heat source, and Eckert number. The mass conversion rate decreased with changes in thermophoretic parameters and Schmidt number.
