Characteristics of woven carbon fabric current collector electrodes for structural battery

Hyun-Wook Park et al.

Summary: The study manufactured electrodes using woven carbon fabric as the current collector for structural batteries. It was found that an electrode with a thickness of 300 microns showed relatively higher mechanical performance and stable electrochemical reactions in the battery. This electrode demonstrated capacities of 112 mAhg(-1) and 35-36 mAhg(-1) at different rates of charge/discharge.
