Numerical study of atmospheric-pressure argon plasma jet propagating into ambient nitrogen

Summary: A 2D axial symmetry fluid model was used to study the features of an atmospheric-pressure argon plasma jet propagating into ambient nitrogen, driven by pulsed voltage. Gas velocity was shown to have a significant influence on the dynamic characteristics of the jet, affecting its spatial distribution and length. The increase in gas velocity results in changes in the jet's dynamic behavior, electron density structure, and length propagation.

Nanosecond-pulsed microbubble plasma reactor for plasma-activated water generation and bacterial inactivation

Summary: In this study, a microbubble-enabled plasma reactor was developed for the production of plasma-activated water (PAW) by transferring highly reactive plasma species into liquids. The antimicrobial effects of PAW against Escherichia coli cells were investigated, and it was found that microbubble-enabled PAW at a lower temperature had the highest antimicrobial activity. The energy efficiency of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species production in PAW was also evaluated.

Deep-learning-based guided wave detection for liquid-level state in porcelain bushing type terminal

Summary: This paper proposes a deep learning method to quantitatively detect the liquid-level state using original guided wave signals, by utilizing convolutional autoencoder for feature extraction and long short-term memory recurrent neural network for liquid-level regression. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method has better accuracy and robustness compared to traditional methods.
